News & Journal

Our news journal shares ongoing work, ideas, and reflections from the studio.

It brings together project updates, award recognition, design thinking, and field notes from sites across Brisbane, Melbourne, regional Australia, and international locations.

This is where we document the evolving nature of practice. Some stories are complete. Others are still unfolding.

A Working Journal

Architecture does not sit still. Each project moves through stages of research, design, construction, and completion. Along the way, ideas shift and deepen.

Our journal captures these moments in real time. It offers insight into how projects develop and how design thinking evolves across different contexts.

We share completed work, but also work in progress. We document decisions, challenges, and discoveries that shape outcomes.

Projects and Recognition

We also record milestones.

These include awards, shortlists, publications, and industry recognition across residential architecture, heritage renovation, and boutique multi-residential work.

Each recognition reflects not only the final building, but also the process behind it. Collaboration, detail, and persistence sit behind every outcome.

Ideas and Practice

Alongside projects, we explore the ideas that inform our work.

These include themes such as climate-responsive design, materiality, biophilic architecture, spatial experience, and the relationship between people and place.

We are interested in how architecture is lived, not just how it is seen.

Field Notes

Some entries are more observational.

They come from site visits, early sketches, or moments of reflection during the design process. These notes often capture the beginnings of ideas before they become resolved into built form.

An Ongoing Conversation

This journal is not a record of finished statements. It is an ongoing conversation.

It reflects how we think, how we design, and how we continue to learn from each project.

We invite you to follow along as the work develops.
