The architecture gene is strong in this one! Nyoah is the youngest son in a family of Architects.  Architecture & the influence from his Arts Programme Director brother have been ever-present in his life giving him a very personal and global view of architecture.

Nyoah relishes the resolution of the design from the inception through to detail. His interest in the intricacies of residential architecture comes from the deeply personal and invested relationship that occurs between client and architect. Different to Commercial arrangements, the success and outcome of a project can very much hang on the strength of the relationship.

  • Adam Hamilton

  • Adam Hamilton

    Architectural Technician

Adam Hamilton joined ABA in 2017 with a diverse experience in both Australia & the UK. Growing up just down the M1 on the Gold Coast, the water and the great outdoors are his first loves.

Adam has enjoyed working on a vast array of projects in the architecture space including large residential regeneration projects, bespoke housing, developments at Brisbane Airport and High-rise towers. On the back of Adam’s ride in the Archi world, he has immensely enjoyed the locations, typologies of his projects and the people he has met along the way. Adam enjoys the documentation, detailing and coordination of projects utilising new technology and has become ABA’s ‘to go’ man for workflow management and IT strategy. Adam enjoys nothing more than getting his bike out before the sun comes up or a cold beer when the sun goes down! In architecture it is seeing the final built form from what can be years of work. Adam’s passion for a quality detailed, efficient sustainable use of space is evident in everything that he does.

  • Jacob Jooste

    Project Leader

  • Jacob Jooste

    Project Leader

    MArch Prof SACAP

Jacob has a devoted passion for the built-form which he developed though a relentless wanderlust from an early age. Growing up on a farm near a small coastal village on the Garden Route in South Africa and then wide-ranging travels through Africa, Europe and the British Isles he discovered his keen interest in the uniqueness of places, architecture and space-making.

In 2011 Jacob graduated with distinction from the Nelson Mandela University in South Africa with a Masters degree in Architecture. His thesis, focusing on the sensitivity and integration of architecture and landscapes, would be selected to represent the university at the National Design & Technology Exhibition in Port Elizabeth. Jacob would then go on to work in Cape Town over the next 5 years where he was involved in a series of high-end residential and large scale public buildings. In 2017 he joined the ABA team after moving to Brisbane.

As a practising architect, Jacob’s architecture is informed by the unique conditions of its environment and ultimately creates buildings of their ‘place’. This philosophy fuels his keen interest in architectonics and material expression which manifests itself in his design work.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
